We enter down the stairs. The big entrance in front of us is covered with a slashed projection surface. A choir stand on the gantry singing. It’s music of love and passion.
As the choir finish they lower fabric and/or their hair from the gantries, and we hear voices of people talking about the river banks and courtship.
Then lighting beyond the fabric reveals the two creatures from the big room. As the choir sing again, they are ritually joined and steam engines start. We experience the sound and steam of industry.
On the slashed screen we see the projection of a huge tap dripping. Then a hand pops through with a cup of tea. And a second hand beckons us in.
